Sammakka Saralamma Jathara, also known as Medaram Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, is the largest tribal fair in the world. It is held once in two years with lot of gusto for three day before Magha Purnima. 29 January, 2010, Friday – Devotees offer naivedyam or other offerings like ‘Bangaram’ (bellam – jaggery).
30 January, 2010, Saturday - Last day of Sammkka Sarakka Jathara. Goddess Sammakkar and Saralamma will return back in to forest.
